Originally inked with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, it was canceled shortly before filming the first episode. It has already been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict. Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms on them.

Personalized California plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have at least eight. I have to say, I really enjoyed watching The Lincoln Lawyer. It’s about a down-on-his-luck lawyer named Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who takes over a successful law firm after the lawyer responsible is murdered and leaves the entire firm, including all of his clients, to Haller.
He takes on all of Tyler’s cases, some big, some small
Haller mostly gets out of his Lincoln car (that’s why he’s called the Lincoln Lawyer). Even though some of them are great, you’ll still have a good time while watching them. This show did so well that it was quickly renewed for season 2.
