After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz is stranded on a deserted island
To survive in the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Lupita Nyong’o is joined by writer-director Chris Sanders to talk about notable credits and their time making The Wild Robot together.. According to author Peter Brown, the inspiration for "The Wild Robot" comes from a sketch he made of a robot in wood.

This beautifully animated film goes beyond just family; it is an emotional and thought-provoking experience
I was lucky enough to attend an advance screening of Wild Robot and it quickly became one of my favorite films of the year. From the stunning visuals to the heart-warming story, "The Wild Robot" delivers strong messages about empathy, connection and what it means to belong. The film seamlessly blends lighthearted moments with deeper emotional themes, making it a classic in my eyes.
It’s rare to find an animated film that resonates so deeply, and I can’t recommend it enough
I was an emotional wreck (in the best way possible) for most of it, completely immersed in the story and characters' experiences. "The Wild Robot" is a true 10/10 and I’m excited to see how it touches others just like me..
